Instant Sync

Predictive Search

Visitors type an address and see real suggestions instantly. Select a result to find the nearest stockists within your chosen search radius, sorted by distance. Visitors can filter by category and see who's open right now.

Auto-Detect Location

Visitors see nearby locations automatically based on their browser location. No searching required.

CSV Import

Already have a list of stockists? Upload a CSV and have them all on the map in seconds. Geocoding included.

8 Map Styles

Default, light, dark, voyager, topographic, humanitarian — with and without labels. Pick a style that matches your brand in one click.

Theme App Block

Add the map to any page using the theme editor — no code changes. Works with any Online Store 2.0 theme.

Custom Markers

Set your marker colour to match your brand. Animated SVG pins with a pulse effect.

Location Management

Edit any location directly — update name, phone, hours, website, and description. Opening hours power an open/closed-now indicator on the map. Toggle visibility to hide without deleting.

Get Directions

Every location includes a Google Maps directions link. Visitors tap and their phone opens turn-by-turn navigation instantly.

Why a synced store locator

Most store locator apps start from a spreadsheet. You export your retailers, tidy the columns, upload the file, and then repeat the whole exercise every time a new stockist signs up or an old one closes. Stockist Map Sync starts from the data you already keep in Shopify. Your retailers, dealers and distributors are usually customers in your admin already, because they order wholesale from you. Tag one of them as a stockist and the app geocodes their address and drops a pin on your storefront map. Remove the tag and the pin disappears. The map stays accurate because it is wired to the same customer list your team updates every day.

There is no Google Maps API key to create and no Google Cloud billing account to attach a credit card to. Map tiles come from OpenStreetMap and CARTO, so the map loads without any Google script on your storefront and you never receive a surprise usage bill. That is the most common reason merchants tell us they left another locator app, and it simply does not apply here.

For a brand that sells through retailers, a where-to-buy page does two jobs. It sends shoppers who want to see and touch the product to the nearest store, and it shows those retailers that you are actively driving foot traffic to them, which is a useful talking point when you are opening new wholesale accounts. A dealer map that is six months out of date does the opposite. We have written more about this in our guides to building a Shopify store locator, creating a where-to-buy stockist page, and a comparison of the best Shopify store locator apps.

Not every location is a customer. A distributor's own showrooms, pop-up shops, and retailers who buy through a wholesaler can be added by CSV import or typed in by hand, and they sit on the same map beside the synced ones. Search radius, category filters, opening hours and marker clustering all apply equally, however a location arrived.

Questions merchants ask
before installing.

Short answers here; the full FAQ and setup tutorial live on plynthr.com.

What happens when I reach the 10-location limit on the Free plan?

Locations over your plan's limit are hidden from the storefront map, not deleted. Upgrade to Pro or Business and they reappear straight away. The same applies if you ever downgrade: nothing is lost, the extra locations simply wait until you have room for them again.

What customer data does the app read, and what does it show on the map?

Only customers carrying your chosen stockist tag are synced. The map shows business fields only: store name, address, and phone number or website if you switch those on. Order history, email addresses and every customer without the tag are never read, stored or displayed.

Will it slow down my store?

No. The map is a theme app block, so its code loads only on the page you place it on. Map tiles come from OpenStreetMap and CARTO, no Google Maps script is added to your storefront, and marker clustering keeps large networks fast to render.

What currency are the plans billed in, and can I cancel?

Plans are priced in US dollars and billed through Shopify on your normal Shopify invoice. Paid plans start with a 14-day free trial, and you can cancel or change plan at any time from inside the app or by uninstalling it.

Does it work with my theme?

Stockist Map Sync ships as a theme app block, so it works with any Online Store 2.0 theme: add it to any page from the theme editor without touching code. If you are on an older vintage theme, email support before installing and we will tell you honestly whether it will work for you.

Can I add retailers that aren't customers in my Shopify admin?

Yes. Import them from a CSV file or add them one at a time by hand. They sit on the same map as your synced customers, with the same search radius, category filters, opening hours and directions link.

Do I need a Google Maps API key?

No. There is no Google Maps API key to create and no Google Cloud billing account to set up. You choose from eight OpenStreetMap and CARTO map styles instead. The optional Get Directions link opens the visitor's own maps app, which needs no key either.

How is support handled?
